Old Business:

• Club picnic date set for October 21, 3:00 at Caledon, to be followed by regularly scheduled Star Party; members requested to bring sides, desserts, drinks

New Business:

• Discussion on Astronomical League membership
  • Motion to join by Mark Slade, seconded by Scott Busby, passed by majority vote
  • Mark Slade volunteered to be ALCOR liaison
• Motion placed to increase dues to cover cost of membership; after discussion, motion failed, club to pay first year's dues
• Finding alternate meeting site that would allow observation after meeting
  • members to research possible alternate sites and report back to club
• Increasing membership via outreach
  • members to research outreach opportunities
  • Myron Wasiuta volunteered to contact Borders about being on regular event calendar
• Club brochures and cards
  • Myron to dig out what we have left, update information with Mark Slade and reprint
  • Ted Treiber to look into having business cards printed
• Slate of officers proposed for 2007; seconded by Barton Billard
