The annual Astronomy Festival on the National Mall, will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019, 6 -11 pm in front of the Smithsonian Castle (Metro stop: Smithsonian) (with the rain location inside the Castle). Admission is free. The sponsors say there is still time to participate, volunteer,  and bring telescopes. Celebrate the summer solstice with telescope observations of the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters, and multi-colored double stars.
