The temperature will stay above freezing, but just barely. Dress in layers to stay warm. We won’t be moving around, so when you plan how to get dressed, pretend it’s 15 degrees. Stay safe – no hypothermia wanted tonight.

The days are quickly getting longer (today is about halfway between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox). Sunset is around 5:30. I expect some of us will be there earlier so we can set up gear while we have daylight. Twilight lasts an hour, so it will be at least 6:30 before the sky is
dark enough to see lots of objects in the sky.
