Join Us for Astronomy Day at England Run Library (June 6)

Join members of RAClub at the Howell Library on Saturday, June 6, (2 to 5 pm) to see a range of telescopes and attend a variety of presentations. Learn tips on buying your first telescope and interesting facts about the objects in our solar system. Hear Thomas Digges (1546-1595) (in costume), considered England’s first modern astronomer, speak about his efforts to develop a practical telescope to view the constellations. There will also be a special presentation on the Sun, including a chance to look at its features through a solar scope.
