Big Meadows Star Party August 12 – Time Change

Rappahannock Astronomy Club Posted on August 11, 2015 by Linda BillardJanuary 30, 2016

11 August 2015–(TIME CHANGE) Come on out to Big Meadows on Aug 12! In cooperation with the National Park Service and weather permitting, RAClub is holding a star party Wednesday, Aug 12, from 2100 to 2300 hours. For directions to Big Meadows, Google “Big Meadows Lodge”–Big Meadows itself is directly across Skyline Dr. from the Lodge at milepost 51. This a wonderfully dark location and worth the trip. It takes about 2 hours to get there. Be sure to check DON’T MISS at the top of this page before starting out to be sure the weather has cooperated.
