Each Girl Scout age level has several journeys available. One that can be done at each age level is It’s Your World – Change It!
The Ambassador version of this journey is Your Voice – Your World. It concentrates on Ambassador Girl Scouts (grades 11-12) learning to advocate for change in their community.
The kind of change done in the journey concentrates on choosing a significant community issue. Most Girl Scouts will choose to work with issues more concrete than astronomy. However, a Girl Scout might become interested in an issue connected to astronomy – such as light pollution or support for scientific research.
