Use NASA’s resources at http://nasa.gov/ to find an upcoming space launch to watch. In RAC’s local area, we can often see launches from NASA’s Wallaops launch facility live.
Requirement 8: Space Flight Spinoffs
The Junior Girl Scout Badge Book contains several suggestions. Use the library to find other articles about spinoffs from space flight. One example important to astronomy is space-based telescopes.
