Good star party last night
Our October 25 star party at Caledon was beautiful. We had, if I saw everybody in the dark, 5 RAC members, some alumni, and about a half dozen visitors.
The sky was completely clear in every direction. Great views in every telescope on the field. The evening started mild. Unlike last month there was no dew! A breeze came and went – I noticed that it turned into a warm breeze at one point. But by the time it got strong enough to vibrate the telescope tubes, it persuaded most people to pack up. The last of us stayed till Auriga and Aldeberan were up. — Glenn, October 26 2014
