12 August 2015–Come on out to Big Meadows on Aug 12! In cooperation with the National Park Service, RAClub is holding a star party Wednesday, Aug 12, from 2100 to 2300 hours. For directions to Big Meadows, Google “Big Meadows Lodge”–Big Meadows itself is directly across Skyline Dr. from the Lodge at milepost 51. This a wonderfully dark location and worth the trip. It takes about 2 hours to get there. The weather is expected to be perfect for stargazing–see you there.
